Follow these steps once you receive your kit from courier

1. Register your kit using the barcode of the tube

After your kit arrive at home, download the “Geneus DNA” mobile application in the App Store or Play Store. Register your collection kit on the application by using the ‘Kit ID’ that printed on the tube

2. Collect Your Sample

(a) Take collector out of package

Open package and remove collector without touching sponge tip.

(c) Insert sponge tip into the tube

Holding the tube upright, unscrew the cap from the tube. Turn the cap upside down, insert the sponge into the tube and close the cap tightly.

(b) Collect your saliva sample

Rub the sponge along the lower gums in a back and forth motion 15 times on both sides.

(d) Shake 15 times

Invert the capped tube and shake 15 times.

(a) Place the tube into the plastic bag

Simply place the capped tube into the plastic bag provided and seal the bag.

(b) Ship it back

Place the sealed bag into the original box. Then, contact your local FedEx to make a pick-up appointment. The provided FedEx shipping label is already pre-addressed and pre-paid.

3. Ship it back

It takes approximately 2 - 3 weeks to process your sample in our certified laboratory. You’ll receive an email notification letting you know your reports are ready. Then, log into your “Geneus DNA” app to discover what your DNA tells you.
